I just saw my fifth Third Eye Blind show at the Gothic Theatre in Denver, and it was one of the best.

Gallery: Sean & Mary Ericson Wedding
On Saturday, my friends Mary and Sean got married in a beautiful wedding in northern Colorado. Mary was one of my many friends during our semester abroad in Granada Spain – so this wedding was cause for a reunion of sorts. Great friends, great times, and lots of memories shared.
Lookin’ Good, Horsetooth Lake.
I was driving into Fort Collins from my parents’ place in the mountains this morning, only to be confronted by this. One of those, “so beautiful, you just have to pull over” views.

Typical for Friday afternoon @OdellBrewing…
Vieques, Puerto Rico
My vacation in Puerto Rico had a short solo leg in San Juan (photos) followed by a week on the island of Vieques with some of my family. It was at the same time relaxing and adventurous, filled with trips to Vieques’ myriad beaches, a rainy night in the bioluminescent bay, and rum cocktails on the Malecón, the Esperanza village’s harbor promenade.

Alhambra Photos
Finally got to go to the Alhambra today… We had some blue skies peek out, which was very lucky (it’s been very cloudy and rainy most days).
I’m not going to post this set of photos here on my blog because they’re better viewed in full detail on my Picasa album. I suggest hitting the “Slideshow” link to get even better detail on it. Check ’em out here.
Lake Powell
I just spent a few days in Utah houseboating with some old friends from high school. It was perfect- just what the doctor ordered (most of this summer has been spent studying and working).
I also got to see my Arizona family for a few hours before and after the Lake Powell trip. That was nice as well, got to see Ethan off to his first day of Kindergarten.
So… Time for photos!
Partied. Hiked. Got stung. (plus photos)
Had a blast this weekend… Went out to the band house for a big party, a lot of people turned out. Big fires, roasting stuff, N64-style Super Smash Bros, RISK lasting until about 4:00 in the morning.
The next morning I got stung in the arm by some kind of wasp. I’ve never been stung by one before, and I know that my mom is really allergic, so I don’t know what to expect. It’s over 24 hours later and I’m not dead, so I guess that’s a good sign, but the swelling didn’t really start until a whole day later. Now half of my forearm is really tender and numb, it’s weird to type or drum. But I’m not too worried, if I had my mom’s allergies I’d probably be in way worse condition.
Yesterday I went hiking with Matt and Madelyn, we got lucky and had cloud cover most of the way up to Horsetooth Rock.
Here are some pictures of the weekend… I don’t know why, but recently I haven’t been taking any pictures of people.
